Ginger Brussels

Need a veggie side that’s a definite crowd pleaser? Try these simple brussels for your next get-together.

4 c halved Brussels sprouts
3 oz fresh apple cider
1 oz @portlandsyrups ginger syrup
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp salt
a few cracks of black pepper

In a large pan, heat 1 tbsp EVOO over med-med/high heat. Once oil is hot, add in your Brussels and toss evenly to coat. Cook for about 7 minutes, tossing every minute or so or until Brussels begin to show some char. Add in your apple cider and ginger syrup, place a lid over the pan, and lower heat to med/low-med for about 7 minutes or until Brussels are fork tender. After no liquid remains and Brussels are cooked through, remove the lid, top with spices, and give the Brussels a good toss. Grab a bowl, pile them high, and serve with some lemon wedges.
We hope you and your loved ones enjoy these tasty green morsels as much as we did! Cheers, friends!
