Ginger Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Halved Brussels sprouts pan-seared for char, then finished with apple cider and Ginger Syrup and covered until fork-tender. A crowd-pleasing side that goes with everything from Thanksgiving turkey to a Tuesday roast chicken.

Ingredients
- 4 cups halved Brussels sprouts
- 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 oz fresh apple cider
- 1 oz Ginger Syrup
- ⅛ tsp garlic powder
- ⅛ tsp salt
- A few cracks of black pepper
- Lemon wedges, to serve
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high. Add the Brussels sprouts and toss to coat.
- Cook for about 7 minutes, tossing every minute or so, until the sprouts start to char.
- Add the apple cider and Ginger Syrup, cover, and lower the heat to medium-low. Cook for about 7 minutes, or until the sprouts are fork-tender and the liquid has cooked off.
- Uncover, sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and toss to coat.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
