Q: How long do the syrups last after opening?
A: Our syrups are shelf-stable for 24 months unopened. Once opened, refrigerate and enjoy within 6 months. Since 3.4 oz bottles make about 3–5 drinks each, most people work through them at a manageable pace.
Q: Is this a good gift?
A: One of our most-given gifts for serious occasions — wedding gifts, milestone birthdays, retirement gifts, or "I really want to thank you" gifts. I try a new flavor each night, and I still haven’t tasted every flavor. But so far I can tell that I will stick with the Spicy Ginger. I mix it with seltzer, 4 shots of hot sauce, and a big dash of bitters. Non alcoholic drinks are my thing, and I like mature flavors.
I haven't explored all that I've purchased, however I believe I will be impressed. The packaging, enclosed note and craftsmanship of the syrups will speak for themselves.

I haven’t tried the syrups in the set because they are a Christmas gift. However, we have tried others and like them. I think it’s very exciting to gift 24 different flavors! I will be proud of this unique gift.

I first found the Vanilla syrup on amazon. I love the flavor and the real ingredients in these syrups. A little goes a long way!! The Ultimate intro Kit is a great way to find which ones are your favorites!!!
Got to flavor my soda stream seltzer. So far, Yuzu is my favorite!
Decided to treat myself to a cute little coffee bar for the summer and these were such fun choices to try! They were each lovely. And I also got a bottle of the lavender because that is one of my favorites in coffee. Fun, decadent and beautiful!
I got this kit as a way to enjoy Special Little Drinks without alcohol. So far the quality of the syrups and the recommended mocktail recipes have been terrific. I like that the kit offers a very comprehensive array of flavors while still including enough syrup for 3ish drinks, so that I can experience a variety of options and get that novelty experiencing of ordering a cocktail from a menu - no bar required.
Got one whole set for my dad who loves his soda stream, and another set for gifts at work. Everyone had fun checking out all the options and said there were too many good ones to pick from.
This was a gift for my son-in-law and he was very happy with it. He sent me a picture of them all lined up and promised to make some tasty drinks when we visit!
I happen to be watching Anders Erickson on his YouTube channel (wonderful fun bartender who creates classic cocktails). He mentioned that he collaborated with Portland Syrups to make his version of grenadine. Well, I immediately had to buy some!
After viewing Portland Syrups website, they had some interesting syrup flavors that I had to try. So not only did I buy some of Ander’s grenadine, I decided to also, purchase the sampler of all the syrups Portland Syrups offers. Ordering was quite easy & quick. Delivery was also pretty quick as well.
Unfortunately, when I received the box, it was pretty badly damaged & totally soaked. It came wrapped in a plastic bag & left in one of USPS plastic bins. Sadly half the bottles were cracked or completely broken & the syrups were all over the box. It was a sticky mess, but it did smelled amazing. Lol.
I immediately sent a chat message to Portland Syrups regarding the issue & Dan responded to my inquiry almost instantly. He immediately offered apologies for the inconvenience & informed me that he will make sure my whole order would be resent that day. I was very thankful for his quick response & resolution.
Well, I just received the 2nd box in perfect condition (except for a small dent in the corner of the box. Luckily, it didn’t affect anything in the box.) I was quite pleased & immediately opened a couple of syrups to try.
I have to say that I like All the syrups I’ve tried so far. The Cola & Root Beer syrups taste just like they were described! The Strawberry Lime & Mojito is wonderful mixed into Sprite. And I really like the Spiced Cranberry in a Cosmopolitan & wonderful in a Vodka Cranberry cocktail. There’s also a recipe book that come with the syrups to which I will be making some of them. I had yet to try the other syrups as yet, but I have no doubt they will be very tasty!
I will say the syrups don’t really taste too sweet, which I really like. The consistency is smooth & the flavors are spot on! As for Ander Erickson’s grenadine, it’s delicious & works great in multiple types of cocktails & mocktails.
I definitely will be ordering syrups for Portland Syrups going forward! They are well made, very tasty, & their customer service is awesome!

Really impressed with the quality and taste of the syrups. Haven’t been able to use them all, but the ones I have used are top notch. Gives you so much to work with mixing mocktails or regular drinks.
