I absolutely love how flavor forward these syrups are. They are not overly sweet, and have elevated my morning coffee ritual significantly. The price is good when you do the 6 bottle bundle. I don’t ever see myself going back to store brand syrups.
My absolute favorite Portland syrup / my absolute favorite coffee syrup of any brand hands down. Such a nice nutty vanilla-y earthy flavor that is still "clean" and not TOO sickly sweet. Doesn't have that artificial flavor that so many coffee syrups (eg Torani!) have. I love playing barista at home for my friends and not a single soul has disliked this ube syrup in their iced lattes.
At first I didn't like this one (have only been having in espresso drinks) but it really grew on me by my second/third latte. It literally smells exactly like banana bread
I love most Portland Syrups but the apple crisp one feels a little funky to me. Disclaimer I've only had it in espresso drinks thus far. It's got the slightest hint of that too-sweet kind of scent that fruit gets when its spoiling, if you know what I mean? Of the fall flavors, the Banana Bread Syrup really beats this one over a million times for me.
Found this company from a FB ad I'm pretty sure, and thankful for the prodding of the algorithm for a change.
Picked up 2 Cardamom syrup bottles (I was fairly confident I was gonna love this one), and a bottle of Apple Crisp syrup since I love fall apple drinks and am still mad at Starbucks (honestly the list is long at this point) for dropping/delaying their apple drinks. This one wasn't as big a hit, but I think it's that I don't like the molasses in it. I wish there was more apple flavor as well. Personal score on the Apple Crisp, 2/5. The Cardamom though? 6/5 stars. Fantastic.
Will keep coming back for it and despite not caring for the Apple Crisp still curious to try other flavors besides my new favorite in Cardamom.
We have tried other syrups, but Portland's are far superior for our cocktails. Their choice of flavors is awesome and customer service is superb!
This syrup is delicious. It gives a beautiful kick to personal favorite. I highly recommend this to everyone.
We use year this round in zero sugar ginger ale with a lime wedge.
The sampler pack is a great way to experience a variety of flavors. Our new favorites from a recent sampler pack are Spicy Ginger and Margarita. Spiced Cranberry is a must have!
The 6 pack is great for refills of old favs and trying a couple of new ones
This is my absolute favorite! With or without alcohol. It is such a tasty beverage of sweet heat. The ginger is amazing. I love 2 shots and a splash of fresca and lime. What a sipper! Can't get enough of it. I will be purchasing it for Christmas presents. Thank you!
It's a treat for the whole family. Even the NRG tastes better than most energy drinks from the store, and we don't even like energy drinks. I like the basic and creative recipes written on the bottles to get acquainted with the syrup. It definitely offers something different than Monin or Torani, and I'm liking it.
The pumpkin spice syrup is very spice forward, hence my review being titled Pumpkin *SPICE* Syrup. The syrup tastes very fresh and doesn’t leave behind any weird aftertastes found in syrups that have more artificial flavorings. I also appreciate the syrup being less sugar heavy and more focused on flavor. The initial taste of ginger has a very powerful kick on the taste buds … BA-BAM!
The yuzu syrup is great. I love yuzu and can't get it fresh where I live. Putting this syrup in sparkling water is so tasty.
These syrups are so far beyond any I’ve ever gotten in the grocery store. The banana bread specifically is my favorite so far. Perfect for a latte with a pastry.
LOL, yeah I crack myself up. The Grapefruit Tonic Syrup goes well with Forij Rose gin and Tanqueray. Not too sweet, and worth trying with your favorite, especially if they are Grapefruit peel forward.
I was impressed by the fast shipping and the taste that did not disappoint.
The brown sugar simple syrup ad as rich taste and mouthfeel to any cocktail that calls for a demerara simple syrup and it really works well in the "Old Fashioned" cocktail.
