INGREDIENTS
- ½ oz Portland Syrups Bright Chai Syrup
- 2-3 dashes Portland Syrups Aromatic Bitters (or any aromatic bitters will do)
- 1 ½ oz Bourbon (or a non-alcoholic whiskey like Spiritless or Ritual)
- Ice
- One large ice cube for serving
- 1 orange
DIRECTIONS
- Add the chai syrup and bitters to a mixing glass and stir to combine.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice then pour in the bourbon and stir again until the glass is chilled to the touch (about 8 seconds).
- Strain the liquid into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
- Peel off a strip of orange rind and squeeze it over the top of the cocktail to express its oils, then add the orange peel to the glass.
