Chai French Toast (Gluten-Free)
A gluten-free brunch stack with Bright Chai Syrup, cinnamon, and cardamom in the custard. Three servings from six slices of GF challah — top with butter and a drizzle of extra Bright Chai instead of the usual maple.

Ingredients
- 6 slices gluten-free challah, about ½ inch thick
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 3 tbsp Bright Chai Syrup
- Light sprinkle of ground cardamom
- 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Butter, for the pan
- Maple syrup, extra Bright Chai Syrup, or powdered sugar, to serve
Instructions
- Whisk everything except the bread in a shallow, wide bowl.
- Heat a large buttered pan over medium to medium-high.
- Dip each slice of bread in the mixture, coating both sides evenly.
- Cook 2 to 3 slices at a time, giving them room, for about 3 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through.
- Serve with butter, maple syrup, a drizzle of Bright Chai Syrup, or a dusting of powdered sugar.
