Hibiscus-Cardamom Glaze:
If you’ve been searching for the perfect companion for your chicken wings, noodle bowls, or spring rolls, look no further! We created a dip-able, drizzle worthy glaze to satisfy all your needs!
PREP: 10 MINS // YIELD: 3-4 Servings
INGREDIENTS
| Juice of one mandarin
| 1/2 tsp sesame oil
DIRECTIONS
Mix ingredients together in a bowl then transfer to a small sauce pan. Bring to just below a boil then remove a few tablespoons of sauce to mix with a tablespoon of cornstarch (thus creating a slurry). Once sauce and cornstarch mixture is combined, stir it back into the hot glaze. Let the glaze warm to just below a boil and as you see it start to thicken, remove from the heat and let cool slightly (will thicken even more). Use right away or store your leftovers in the fridge for about 4 days. *
