Mango Habanero Wings
A sweet-hot wing sauce that lands somewhere between Korean gochujang and mango habanero hot sauce. Toss it with a dozen already-cooked wings and finish with sesame seeds, lime zest, and scallions.

Ingredients
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1½ tbsp Mango Habanero Syrup
- 2 dashes fish sauce
- 1 tsp red pepper paste (gochujang)
- Juice of ½ lime
- ½-inch nub fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- Scallions, sesame seeds, and lime zest, to garnish
- 12 cooked chicken wings
Instructions
- Whisk together the soy sauce, Mango Habanero Syrup, fish sauce, red pepper paste, lime juice, and ginger. Transfer to a small saucepan and bring to a simmer.
- Ladle 1 tbsp of the sauce into a small bowl and whisk it with the cornstarch. Stir the slurry back into the pan.
- Simmer for another minute or two, until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and let stand to thicken further.
- Toss the wings in the sauce and top with sesame seeds, lime zest, and scallions.
