This cocktail is an uptick from the classic bourbon Manhattan. Developed by @keepitcrafted in NYC, it adds the depth of our Root Beer syrup and the top notes of a good coffee & cocoa bitters to the standard bar drink. It's a fun one, especially if you love dark liquor, coffee, and root beer.
PREP: 3 MINS // YIELD: 1 COCKTAIL
INGREDIENTS
| 2oz 100 Proof Bourbon
| 1.2oz Cocchi Vermouth di Torino
| 6 Dashes "Big Bear" Coffee & Cocoa Bitters
DIRECTIONS
| Stir bourbon, syrup and vermouth with ice in mixing glass for 30 seconds
| Strain into rocks glass and place large ice cube
| Add bourbon and gently stir
| Express the oil of an orange peel (if on hand) over the glass, and add dashes of bitters
