Chai on Ice

To soda or not to soda, that's the question when trying this iced beverage featuring our Summer Chai Syrup. Chai, or in particular Masala Chai, is a generic term for a mixture of black tea with aromatic spices and comes in vast variety of flavor profiles. Ours is lighter on the winter warming spices so tends to prefer to be in iced drinks. Whether you mix this recipe with plain water or sparkling water is up to the taste buds of the particular pallet. It works wonderfully either way!

PREP: 2 MINS   //   YIELD: 1 SODA

|  Splash Half 'n Half or Sweetened Condensed Milk

DIRECTIONS

|  Pour syrup over ice in tall glass

|  Add splash of milk or milk-substitute if desired.  Sweetened Condensed Milk is very strong so use sparingly.
