Spiced Cranberry Snack Mix

Ingredients
- ½ cup pumpkin seeds
- ½ cup hazelnut halves
- 2 cups honey nut Chex cereal
- 1½ cups pretzel sticks
- ⅓ cup butter
- ⅓ cup Spiced Cranberry Syrup
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ cup candied orange peel
Instructions
- Combine the pumpkin seeds, hazelnuts, Chex, and pretzels in a large bowl.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter, Spiced Cranberry Syrup, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt together, stirring occasionally, until bubbling — about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Pour the hot mixture over the dry snack mix and toss gently to coat.
- Spread in a single even layer on a greased, parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 275°F for 1½ hours, tossing at least once at the halfway point.
- Slide the parchment off the pan to cool. When cool, toss in the candied orange peel and enjoy.
