Spicy Chai Old Fashioned

An Old Fashioned in a heavier coat. Our Bright Chai Syrup brings cardamom, ginger, and clove to good bourbon; piri piri and curry bitters push it further. Two minutes to build, drinks like more. From our friends at Freeland Spirits.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • ½ oz Bright Chai Syrup
  • 2 dashes piri piri bitters
  • 2 dashes curry bitters
  • 1 orange peel, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the bourbon, Bright Chai Syrup, and bitters in a rocks glass with one large ice cube.
  2. Stir gently for 15 seconds to chill.
  3. Express the orange peel oil over the glass, drop the peel in, and serve.
