Strawberry Basil Sour

Sweet strawberry, fresh basil, and a silky head from aquafaba. Our Strawberry Lemon-Lime Syrup makes this sophisticated cocktail a breeze to mix up — no muddling required.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Strawberry Lemon-Lime Syrup
  • 1 oz gin
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1½ oz aquafaba (chickpea liquid)
  • 5 fresh basil leaves
  • 3 dashes black lemon bitters

Instructions

  1. Add the basil leaves to a shaker and muddle gently.
  2. Add the gin, Strawberry Lemon-Lime Syrup, lemon juice, aquafaba, and bitters. Dry-shake hard for 15 seconds to build the foam.
  3. Add ice and shake hard for another 15 seconds.
  4. Double-strain into a chilled coupe glass and serve.
