Summer Sweet Tea
Southern-style sweet tea, but with the brown sugar already dissolved. Our Brown Sugar Simple Syrup keeps a whole pitcher uniformly sweet through the last glass. Make it the night before so the flavors marry.

Ingredients
- 4 oz Brown Sugar Simple Syrup
- 8 bags decaffeinated black tea
- 8 cups water
- Fresh lemon slices
Instructions
- Boil 2 cups of water and steep the tea bags for 5 minutes, then squeeze and discard.
- Transfer the tea to a pitcher, add the Brown Sugar Simple Syrup, and stir.
- Top off the pitcher with up to 6 cups of water to dilute, then refrigerate overnight.
- To serve, fill a glass with ice, pour in the sweet tea, and garnish with lemon slices.
