Vanilla Spice Rooibos Almond Mylk:
Looking to update your homemade nut mylk game? We’ve got the recipe for you! 🥜
PREP: 5 MINS // YIELD: 1 Large Jar
INGREDIENTS
| 3 cups water
| 1/8 tsp salt
| 2 tsp @portlandsyrups Vanilla Spice Rooibos Syrup
DIRECTIONS
Soak one cup of raw almonds in water (just enough to submerge them) over night in a covered container. In the morning, strain the water off the almonds and give them a good rinse. Add the almonds, water, salt, and syrup to your blender and blend on high (or on the juice/mylk setting if your blender has one) until there are no chunks left and mixture is completely smooth. Pour mylk into a nut mylk bag over a bowl and squeeze and twist the bag until all the liquid is extracted from the bag. Pour the liquid into your favorite sealable container and store in the fridge for up to four days. This mylk is great in your coffee, a cup of earl grey, or even used in your oats!
