Q: Do I still need fresh mint and lime when I use Mojito syrup?
A: Nope — that's the whole point. Our Mojito Syrup is infused with real spearmint and made with key lime puree, so the muddling step is built in. You can garnish with a fresh mint sprig and a lime wheel for presentation (and a little extra aroma when you sip), but the flavor work is already done. A 1 oz pour of syrup is roughly equivalent to half a lime, a tablespoon of simple syrup, and 6-8 muddled mint leaves.
Q: How strong is the mint flavor in the Mojito Syrup?
A: Authentically minty without veering into toothpaste territory. Fast shipping! I love that they are all bottled in glass jars. I've tried a few brands of syrups to flavor coffee and cocktails. These are by far the best! They aren't overly sweet which allows the flavors to come through. The lavender is my favorite and you can really taste the lavender. It brings me back to summer and waking though a lavender field while vacationing in Wisconsin. The syrup is delicious in coffee and also makes an elevated lavender lemon drop.
