Bubble Tea lovers, rejoice! This recipe features the smooth notes of vanilla, cinnamon and honey in a delicious blend made to combat the afternoon slump. And don't be fooled by the tapioca pearls: they're so easy to make, even the kiddos can get involved.
PREP: 12 MINS // YIELD: 1 DRINK
INGREDIENTS
| 1 bag of black tea
| ½ cup of quick-cooking tapioca pearls
| Milk of choice
| Crushed ice
DIRECTIONS
| While the tea is steeping, cook the tapioca pearls in boiling water for 5 to 8 minutes. Stir constantly to prevent clumping. Once cooked, strain the pearls and transfer them to a bowl of ice-cold water for 2 minutes. To finish, remove the pearls from the water and set aside.
| In a tall glass, add a healthy scoop of the cooked boba (tapioca pearls), a scoop of ice, then fill the glass 3/4 of the way with brewed black tea.
