I love anything with mint! This syrup is perfect for the cocktail/mocktail of your choice! I love it added to gin and lemon juice! Superb! Also, not Super Sweet!
I love my Portland syrup! I’d been looking for a low-sugar, full-flavor syrup for my morning latte, and this is it. Nothing artificial, just the right touch of sweetness and oh so good!
By buying the three pack I was able to choose whichever flavors I wanted. One of the flavors I chose was Peppermint. The Peppermint syrup is just lovely. It is mild, not too sweet, not overly minty, it is just lovely. I have been using it to make peppermint mochas in my home. I really like it.
Spicy Ginger was my first experienced. I made the best Mocktail I ever had. The six pack where I could select many flavors gives the opportunity to try more flavors. The Spicy Cranberry is fantastic. I have also tried the mango habanero. It’s not bad but could be “stronger”. I have 4 more flavors to try and can’t wait. Then I will order the flavors I haven’t tried yet. I am mostly mixing them with sparkling water or lime flavored tonic water. Both ways have been great. I would so much rather have this than canned sparkling water.
This simple syrup is so delicious, and because I don't usually sweeten my coffee, I only need a tiny bit - so it should last a while. If your coffee is bitter, this really helps. Yes, I could make it myself for far less, but I'm happy I bought it and will probably reorder.
I found Portland Syrups while researching soda alternatives that didn't contain artificial sweeteners or other non-natural ingredients. I bought a six pack of different flavors, tried them with seltzer water and was very happy with the results.
Some favorites in our house are Strawberry Lemon Lime, Root Beer, Cola, Bright Chi (I add this to my hot chi to give it a boost), Caffeinated Simple Syrup, Ginger, Mojito and Peppermint (yummy in coffee and hot chocolate). I've purchased several custom six packs, restocking favorites and trying new flavors. Thank you for making this fantastic product!
This grendine product from Anders has excellent flavor, and creates rich and complex cocktails. It's definitely a lot more convenient than making it myself. Two things to note: first, the color is fairly dark, so this won't work as well for something like a tequila sunrise. Second, it is perishable, so try to use it within a few weeks of opening (and keep it refrigerated). Cheers!
I’m thrilled with these drink mixers. Lavender syrup for tea and also mocktails. Same with the rose syrup. Delicious flavors
Since your grenadine is so thick and kind of hard to mix into a drink I mix equal parts grenadine with fresh squeezed lemon juice in a jar and shake. This makes it the perfect consistency. I pour a 7.5 oz can of Schweppes club soda over ice and top with two tablespoons of the mixture for an out of the ballpark Tom Collin’s Mocktail. Top with a Bada Bing cherry and I’m in heaven!!
Flavor is definitely lacking. Syrups is more like a very sweet vanilla. The vanilla is definitely overpowering which is odd since there is no vanilla as the ingredients should only be
Water, Brown Sugar, Organic Cane Sugar? I made a batch with those three ingredients at home and it tasted like brown sugar no vanilla notes. Just odd. Now price wise $14 for a 24 serving is on the higher end especially considering that that is only based on recommended serving portion, but if you want your drink a bit sweeter then you’ll get way less than 24 servings out of the bottle. Over all I would disagree with the previous reviews. This is not a great syrup of coffees. Sadly, I Would not recommend
I had only ever tried the brown sugar syrup and wanted to try some new flavors for my tea. The lavender is so good and I can tell it would be great in a French 75. I also tried the Rose syrup and it was delightful as well. This is a great was to try flavors you haven’t had before committing to large bottles of all of them. Am almost out and will definitely need to order more.
I ordered the marionberry, pomegranate/cherry, and pineapple. Haven't tried the pineapple yet but the other two are delicious...certainly made my dry January more interesting!
This is the 2nd of 3 syrups I ordered and it didn't disappoint. I use the syrups in my tea and it gives an added dimension to the flavor. Thank you for great syrups!
I have long enjoyed Portlands cocktail syrups, especially the spicy Ginger and decided to try their coffee syrup. Perfect! Not too sweet and a smooth nutty flavor to my iced coffee.
This syrup is fantastic. I love cardamom. And hibiscus tea is a favorite. I add a little to my iced hibiscus tea. Refreshing and luxurious drink.
