Mango Habanero Chicken Wings:
We love showing you different and unique ways to use our syrups in all your cooking endeavors, not just your beverage creations. Well here it is- Mango Habanero Chicken Wings!
PREP: 10 MINS // YIELD: Sauce for One Dozen Wings
INGREDIENTS
| 1 1/2 TBLS Mango Habanero Syrup
| 2 dashes fish sauce
| 1 TSP red pepper paste
DIRECTIONS
Stir together all ingredients, then transfer to a small pot. Bring sauce to a simmer. Remove 1 TBLS sauce and add it to a small dish with 1 TSP of cornstarch. Once sauce and cornstarch are combined, pour it back into the simmering sauce, mixing it well to avoid clumps. Watch the sauce carefully as it only takes a minute or two for it to begin thickening. Once you see the sauce is thicker, remove it from the heat. Let the sauce sit off the stove for a couple minutes while it thickens a bit more as it cools. After that, toss your wings in the sauce and garnish with some sesame seeds, lime zest, and scallions. Enjoy!
