Caballo Dorado Cocktail

Yellow melon, blanco tequila, and ginger heat over crushed ice. Our Spicy Ginger Syrup tucks under the melon’s sweetness; Scrappy’s Firewater bitters land it. A Robin original from Keep It Crafted.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz blanco tequila
  • 1 oz fresh yellow melon juice
  • ¾ oz Spicy Ginger Syrup
  • ½ oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 dashes Scrappy’s Firewater Bitters
  • Club soda, to top
  • 1 lime wedge, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the tequila, melon juice, Spicy Ginger Syrup, lime juice, and bitters in a shaker with a small amount of ice.
  2. Shake briefly, then double-strain into a chilled Collins glass filled with crushed ice.
  3. Top with club soda and stir gently.
  4. Float a few extra dashes of bitters over the surface with a bar spoon and garnish with a zested lime wedge.
