Lavender Matcha Latte

This lavender matcha latte is a delightful combination of earthy notes from matcha and floral undertones of lavender - calming and energizing at the same time!

1 teaspoon matcha powder
2 tablespoons Portland Syrups Lavender Syrup
1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
1-2 teaspoons culinary lavender buds (food-grade)
Hot water (not boiling)

  1. Prepare Matcha:
    Sift 1 tsp matcha powder, mix with a bit of hot water until smooth.
  2. Heat 1 cup of milk until hot but not boiling.
  3. Combine matcha paste with 2 tbsp lavender syrup in a mug.
  4. Pour hot milk into the mug.
  5. Use a whisk or frother to blend until frothy.
  6. Garnish (Optional):Sprinkle with culinary lavender buds.
