Royal Tea Rose Gimlet

A gimlet infused with Earl Grey tea, finished with our Rose Cordial Syrup. Bergamot and rose drink like a garden in early summer; fresh grapefruit keeps the edge bright.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Rose Cordial Syrup
  • 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1 sachet Earl Grey tea (we like Lord Bergamot from Smith Tea)
  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 grapefruit peel, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the Rose Cordial Syrup and the Earl Grey tea sachet in a small bowl. Let infuse for 10 minutes, then discard the sachet.
  2. In a shaker filled with ice, combine the infused syrup, gin, and grapefruit juice.
  3. Shake hard for 10 seconds, then strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  4. Garnish with a grapefruit peel and serve.
