I have become obsessed with Portland Syrups since discovering them in my search for better syrups for Italian Sodas. I love how they manage to be full of flavor without being sickly sweet, like most brands out there. This grenadine syrup falls in line with the rest of their syrups. No artificial cough syrup here! This is pure flavor with a lovely depth and just the right amount of sweetness.
I’ve been making my own PSL’s at home and this syrup is the perfect blend of spices and pumpkin. And this is the same syrup Stumptown Coffee Roasters is using this fall. A real winner that I’ll look forward to every fall!
I was looking forward to trying the raspberry rhubarb syrup, but ended up disappointed. I absolutely love rhubarb and unfortunately found no rhubarb in this syrup. It tastes like a mild raspberry. It is very nice but not tart.

I accidentally came across Portland Syrups on a trip to Oregon in Aug. Then I went on line and ordered the three pack. I had purchased a small size 3-bottle variety pack that included the Hibiscus/Cardemom...........OMG I love that flavor. So I decided to order the larger bottle three pack (that I could choose from all the flavors.) Again, awesome. And another great selling point is they shipped for free and my order came so quickly. I definitely recommend Portland Syrups.....
These syrups are packed with flavor and not too sweet. I'm cutting back on alcohol so these syrups are a great way to make creative and tasty drinks. The recipes for cocktails and "mocktails" on the bottles are nice but can be a little hard to read due to small print. Highly recommend!
I have really enjoyed the lavender in my London Fog tea and in my cold brew coffee. The ginger smells so good and i am excited to try the cola. One did leak a bit- I might suggest extra tape around the cap or a plastic bag around each.

I've been trying brands of aromatic bitters and they can vary a lot from brand to brand. The brand leader, Angostura, is very herbal. Portland's syrup is more focused on the smells of spices like cinnamon. Its my go-to for bitters at present.

So probably unlike many, I don’t typically use the syrups for alcoholic beverages. I add them to my sparkling water for a boost of flavor to boost my water intake 😆 So the lovely extras in the box - like the bitters and such - are sort of piling up. HOWEVER every month I start with the intention of trying the bevvies on the lovely included recipe cards and then….just never get around to it. Regardless of my laziness, I love having the newest and most fun flavors coming directly to me every month, and yes - my water intake has been increasing too. Definitely worth getting even if you’re like me and just use the syrups and not the extras because…well…that’s how we roll. 🤭
I purchased the root beer syrup and I must say that it is the best tasting root beer that my wife and I have ever had! I highly recommend it. As a matter of fact, I told my mom about it and she ordered three bottles from you all just recently.!
